Rivet Gallery is going t have an exhibition in which I was invited to participate along with the great illustrators Helena Garcia and Israel Sanchez. The opening will be August 6. If you are near  do not hesitate to visit. Is a shame that i live very far but anyway i’m very happy  to participate

Prepare for SOD 2

For the second time we have 5 talented illustrators that will be drawing for all you non-stop for 48 hours, they are Ivan Mayorquín, BACSE, Cecy Meade, STNK, Mr. Kone and Pachiclón, and also have several  special guest.

For those who do not have the slightest idea of what I am speaking here I leave a small Sketch or Die for Dummies guide:

What is Sketch or Die?

SOD is the first event of illustration and design found in Mexico, that brings together 5 figures and special guests to draw continuously for 48 hours and be transmitted via online without interruption.

This project is conceived as an experiment in social media, know the reality, extent and impact of web media in Mexico for 48 hours in addition to being a space to explore and experience the artwork in a maximum degree.

How it works

For 48 hours straight 5 illustrators and several guests are enclosed within a quarter vine wasting his talent, creativity and skill constantly drawing people requests through the event page. These 5 illustrators only have contact with the outside world via a Twitter account, a Facebook fan page, blog and online live streaming of what’s happening inside the room.

Throughout these 48 hours and by different mechanics, people ask to illustrate what they want, from a portrait, a declaration of love, his favorite song, a tweet, any characters or objects that are within reach. All these illustrations will be delivered immediately to the person interested by digital media.

Also during these 48 hours of calls for active public participation following the event, either calling or sending drawings, giving ideas, supporting her favorite illustrator to achieve the task of drawing 48 without stopping or participating in various mechanical to win any work or sponsors gifts.
